It's soooo nice to not be eating shit this morning! I admit to a little gloating last

night but can you imagine the baggers if RobMe had won? I've seen a few FB posts treating it like it's the end of the world. Isn't it amazing that some seemingly reasonable people swallowed the whole string of anti-Obama lies? It's as if they actually believe things were in great shape when he took office and then things crashed.

I got back with the crew from a blood drive about 5:30 last night. The center was still open and we had some donors. No tv's were on. I could expect that from a couple of the staff. All the way back I hadn't asked anyone about election news. I had been in total news blackout all afternoon.

I was freaking out that somehow, everything I had read or seen, making me believe that Obama would win and Democrats overall would do well overall would be wrong and last night would be a disaster. I was almost afraid to turn on the tv when I got home! When I did I saw Pennsylvania was called and smiling upbeat liberals on MSNBC and Current!

I can't thank the Americans that made it happen enough! I added my one vote to the popular total but I'm in Idaho. I didn't have to stand in any line. The early voting station was one block away and I was the only voter when I went there. You people that went out and stood in line saved our country!
