Related: About this forumTrump getting security briefings?
Considering his pandering to Putin, are they really going to allow him access to vital security information? Has he already received those briefings?

(135,425 posts)Maybe they'll feed him phony info that he can pass on to his pal Putin--LOL!
Love to see him caught in a disinformation web--it would serve him right. They could force him to be a double agent, or do jail time.
IIRC they usually start once we're into general season--post convention, before the debates.
They're not real detailed though--the POTUS - elect gets HARD and complex briefings.
But then again, all former POTUSes, VPotuses, and SECSTATES also get these briefings, as they are occasionally asked to assist the US as special envoys.
I can hear it now - Folks, if you only knew what I know! It's yuuuuge! Actually he will likely make up whatever he wants and hint is from classified material.

(27,817 posts)... "briefings" about how Monaco is planning to invade the US, Itchikookistan is on the verge of civil war, and Sweden has declared ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics as their official language. It's not like he'll know the difference.
On a more serious note, I believe the POTUS has the final say as to what Trump is actually made privy to.

(15,348 posts)is that the Executive Branch controls what gets briefed. My guess is that the Executive Branch is going to be extremely diligent in what they provide to that ass-hat Trump.
Let's get busy to ensure it's the ONLY time he ever gets within 100 yards of a National Intelligence Brief.
