Obama's Political Predicament

i think its very likely a deal was struck with the Clintons. Obama's gonna be expected to support her fully 100%.

but what if Biden really wants to run?

if he does, then in the primary process the President is gonna get that favor called in from the Clintons. how is he gonna manage a endorsement of Hillary against his own VP?

interesting quandry.

Just interested to see how this dynamic plays out.

I think Biden will try and run in spite of what a lot of people think. I also think Hillary's gonna give it serious thought as well.

I don't think he has the ego to want to be President. I think he would make a great President - but I think he'll retire and be perfectly happy to become a grand old sage for the Dems.

I too believe that Obama struck a deal with the Clinton. That's why Bill was so heavily engrossed in this campaign and went out of his way to support PBO in any way he could to get him re-elected.

I think Bill wants more for Hillary to run in 2016 than Hillary wants to. I think Bill was just hedging his bets in hopes he can get Hillary to change her mind.

I really would like to see Hillary take the helm in 2016 - but am really wondering if she will be true to her word in stepping down and not running.

How sweet would it be to have another run of 8 years of Dem control of the White House.

I do think that the Repugs realize this potential and will do everything in their power to prevent that from happening.

I think the fact that PBO has another 4 years to now take advantage of the seeds he's sown over the first 4 years and that the fruits of his labor in the first 4 will begin to pay off. The economy is on the move now. I don't think that the corporations can sit on their large sums of money for another 4. They are going to have to start spending it now that they know that their guy is not in the WH. They would have started to spend it had Rmoney won to make him look good and they're going to have to spend it now anyway.

Those 12 million jobs that Rmoney was promising is going to happen anyway and PBO and the Dems will rightfully so get the credit for them.

When we are in 2015 and the beginnings of the 2016 race for the WH - the Dems will be in the catbird seat as the economy should be smokin'.

I don't think the American People will put up with stonewalling and gridlock by the Repugs any longer - and if the Repugs really try to be hard asses and stonewall - the House will go Dem in 2014. I think the Dems can successfully execute the filibuster in the Senate and be comfortable that the Repugs will not be able to take advantage of that in 2016 as they will not be in power.

We have to keep on PBO and Harry Reid - and give them the courage and support to say that we have their back and that they can successfully deep six the filibuster to do what they have to do to fix this country without the interference by the Repugs. That would assure them a victory in 2016.

With one or two additions to SCOTUS over the next four years - this should assure the direction of this country over a bunch of coming decades.

Last night was really an important win. We need to take advantage of it now and make sure that we don't screw it up.
