New Missouri Poll: Trump leads by 2 (44-42)

Trump 44, Clinton 42, Johnson 5, Stein 2

Democrat Chris Koster leads 45-43 over Republican Eric Greitens (yes, the guy with the commercial that shows him firing the Gatling gun)

https://www.stlmag.com/news/in-missouri-voter-polls-president-governor/

The pollster is not rated by fivethirtyeight.com but it's a reasonably large sample of 1280 likely voters.

Here is some evidence to show that. https://www.hillaryclinton.com/states/missouri/

Here is more specific information about HRC organization in all states: http://www.p2016.org/clinton/clintonorg.html For Missouri, scroll down to where the state is listed.

There are also several on her main campaign staff who have Missouri ties or who worked previously on Obama's campaigns there.

This is why we need to contribute $$$ to keep those state organizations going and also to contribute time and effort whenever and wherever we can.

It was 0.33 more Republican than Arizona.

Indiana followed Missouri at R+10.20. (Indiana and Missouri have had a spread, from each other, of no more than 1.16 over the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections.)

Update: The Kander campaign responded to our story with an important piece of context: Remington Research, the group commissioned to do the poll cited here, is founded by Republican political consultant Jeff Roe, who also worked on Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign
