Boy, that intervention sure worked well!

Barely 24 hours after the Come-to-Jesus GOP meeting, the "he's-got-three-weeks-to-shape-up-or-else" directive goes, er, slightly off track. This man really does need a mental health professional.

In his latest vomit-filled oration, he manages to threaten voters in Connecticut as well as in states he once had an outside chance to actually win (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida). "You better vote for me or I'll never respect you again."

Why did the party give him three weeks to shape up? He can't go three hours!

It is like when a small child misbehaves and the parent threateningly counts to three, then nothing happens.

That's three weeks from now.

The RNC will divert funds to down ticket races at that point.
