‘That’s a guy who knows he’s going to lose’: Morning Joe thinks it’s time to stick a fork in Trump

-snip-

On Morning Joe on Monday, co-host Joe Scarborough railed against Trump’s decision to keep picking fights with media organizations such as the New York Times over their reporting on his faltering campaign. Scarborough played clips of Trump telling rally goers that the Times is a “failing” newspaper that’s going to be “out of business very soon.”

“These are the most dishonest people,” Trump said of the Times’ reporters. “The good news is… the newspaper’s going to hell. They’ve got a couple of reporters at the newspaper who are so bad, with, I mean, lack of talent.”

Scarborough’s reaction to Trump’s rant was blunt. “That’s a guy who knows he’s going to lose,” he said. “I don’t know that he’s ever wanted to win but it’s just… sad and pathetic, what’s going on out there, if you are a Republican and you would actually like to control one branch of government after this election.”

Scarborough finished by saying that Trump has been “even below” his own expectations because “he’s been on his absolute worst behavior over the past month. This is a guy who’s in self-destruct mode,” the Morning Joe co-host concluded.

But he ain't wrong on this one. Except the part about him performing below expectations. Trumps doing about as well as I expected him to.

It was amusing all these months to hear about Trump's strategy and the planned pivot - as if he was a normal candidate who could think, plan and strategize clearly.

The man is consumed by his personality disorders. It's been clear almost from the beginning that he is incapable of playing politics successfully.

That is the same philosophy that created Joe he shares the same political DNA of modern Republicans. Trump is what you get with unrestricted financial ambition. The last Republican candidate Romney was merely a nihilistic corporate raider. Trump is a corporate anarchist willing to destroy everyone for his personal profit. What created Joe created Trump. Trump wants you Joe he will own you, Joe you are not that exceptional. When this is over Trump will need a new gig and Joe you and your kind are vulnerable. Someone somewhere thinks Trump is a useful idiot. Even when Trump loses he will stand tall in a room full of other pathetic loser idiots.
