In NC: working-class, white, male, SANE Republican who "just can't check the box for Trump."

I have a little leak in my roof and a very nice roofing repairman just came out to take a look at it. . . .

He told me to head inside in the cool while he took a look. I jokingly responded that I'd try to keep cool by avoiding looking at election coverage while I was inside. . . . He volunteered that he's a Republican and that he'd seen my bumper stickers and knew I wasn't, but (as he said) "who cares!?" He went on to say, "This guy is scary. My brother voted for him in the primaries and I couldn't bring myself to do it. I don't know what I'm going to do in November, but I know I just can't check the box for Trump. . . ."

He seemed like a nice guy.
And he said that my roof repair is no big deal and won't be more than $250 max!

Hey Media! Just because the Re-Trumplican Party couches their language at the 3RD Grade Level, it does not make them the party of the common man. In fact, it kind of makes them patronizing.

This guy isn't a meme. He is an individual and he also happens to be white and male and Republican. He's a roofing repairman (not the owner of the company), so he's also working-class. . . .
