Hanging Trump Around Every Republican Neck

National Journal looks at how Democrats in downballot races are tying their Republican opponents to Donald Trump.

“The attacks are, in part, a response to growing evidence that many voters view Trump as something of a political anomaly, who is meaningfully different even from Republicans who will support him. To fully benefit from a potential anti-Trump wave, Democrats will have to persuade voters that the same characteristics they dislike in Trump can be found in local Republicans.”

real substance in these Campaigns. Horse Collar these Rethugs with Trump and not just certain ones, nail every and all of these folks. Remember working campaigns years ago,and we got Horse Collared with Willie Horton, and Mondale and his failure,as well as other garbage which had zero business in any of our Campaigns. The Rethugs are masters at the Negative Campaign, but this time we have the payback and Karma is truly a __________.

In '94, Gingrich and the GOP ran ads against Democrats in which the candidate morphed into Bill Clinton to make the point that voting for the Dem was voting for Bill Clinton.

The DCCC and DSCC should do the same to the Republicans and Trump.
