Democrats Brace for More Election Leaks

Wall Street Journal: “Two websites created in recent months and whose operators are believed to have ties to the Russian government now serve as portals for leaking sensitive and at times embarrassing information about the Democratic Party and its supporters.”

“Some computer experts and Democrats in Congress believe both websites—the Guccifer 2.0 WordPress page and DCLeaks.com—have ties to Russian intelligence services and that the sites are using hacked information to try to influence the November elections.”

This is nothing more than Watergate 2.0. They can't win in a straight campaign, so they're doing everything they can to destroy the election process.

It's criminal and traitorous.

...to leak sensitive info is hurting them much more than it's helping them.

Doesn't seem smart to keep up with this tactic, but that's why Trump will likely try it anyway.

I just don't believe he's competent enough to be pulling the strings.

5. Why would anyone believe a word these Russian-controlled organizations release?

We know they're trying to influence the election, to the degree they've got Trump's campaign manager on the payroll.

I highly doubt anything they release will have any effect on the outcome.

discussing this and he said not to believe anything they release because they've done this before and they have altered information.

It feels like we're at the mercy of whether the media wants to present that part of it or not. I'm guessing they'll add a super-quick footnote that information may have been altered, but it'll probably be (intentionally) lost on anyone listening.
