Green Partys Jill Stein nixed for Georgias presidential ballot5:05 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016
Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein wont be on Georgias presidential ballot this November after the state said the party had too few verified signatures on its petition.
The news comes a month after the Green Party submitted what it said was more than 1,600 pages of signatures by the states July 12 deadline. Party officials had not been sure of the number of signatures, but they estimated it had been more than 10,000.

(267 posts)Isn't a group supposed to go through and get rid of duplicates, the I.P. Freely and Donald Duck etc before they submit the petition? They aren't taking this seriously.
Plus, it would be surprising if there are 10k Greens in Georgia to sign, too many ppl here still remember when Cynthia McKinney was representing them. She was on local news in the 90's 2000's acting nutty a lot...
