Paul LePage story?

He’s a sick man...

But Listen up... I don’t blame Lepage....(He’s an ill man who sounds drunk most of the time)

I fucking blame the Sovereign Citizens of the State of Main. ( yea, I know mostly Republicans) but

This fucking guy was re-elected and there was a huge amount of evidence that this was a sick man way before the last Senatorial Election..

I sure hope it passes. LePage never would have got it if it we had ranked choice.

The majority of Mainers has never wanted him. The first time he won in a 5 way race and the second time in a 3 way race. Stinking Eliot Cutler had to run again to steal votes from Mike Michaud the dem. Also, in the last race Michaud came out as gay, so unfortunately homophobia brought down the number of votes for the dem.

MSM in other states would report on this stuff... makes more sense...why he was elected..

Still I must say 40%?

I think homophobia made the difference. Michaud would have been the first openly gay governor if he got elected. Michaud was 2nd district (central and northern Maine) US rep for years. People seem to forget about his service as US rep when they found out he was gay. It was still pretty close and Michaud probably would have won if Eliot Culter didn't run. Culter got a lot of votes for an independent. LePage was an unpopular governor and still is. It is unfortunate how things worked out. I think LePage getting elected in Maine is very similar to how Trump was able to get the repub presidential nomination. The republicans are nominating terrible, extreme candidates.

fucked in the head from growing up in dirt poor, shitty family that abused him. He ran away from home at the age of 11. His whole perspective in life is to do whatever it takes to survive on his own and fuck other people because he can't trust them. He is totally dysfunctional and not someone that ever should have been governor. He basically got in because tea party republicans have a thing for assholes.
