Nothing brings out the crazy, sexist asshole in people like a woman running for president.

I was arguing with someone about politics on facebook the other day. I pointed out a few facts about why Trump is not fit to be president. The other guy countered with no facts and by calling Hillary a "vile bitch." As soon as the words "vile bitch" come out of their mouths you know exactly what you are dealing with: an ignorant, hateful person who doesn't really know why they hate Hillary.

In all their reporting on our two candidate's "high unfavorability", the media never mentions that perhaps gender might have something to do with it.

Donald Trump's unfavorables are easily explained – we've never had a candidate consistently insult and offend people in such a reprehensible manner.

But Hillary Clinton? She's a normal politician, perfectly within the boundaries of previous candidates, despite how people try to paint her. There's only one thing that makes her different from previous candidates – her gender.

Women have led Pakistan, India, Turkey, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Liberia, Great Britain, Brazil and Argentina (to name some countries) in the past few decades, and no one seems to have jumped off any tall buildings because of it. Some of them were ineffective, some were corrupt, and some did as well as any man ever did. In other words, it never really mattered what gender a country's leader is/was, and that goes back at least as far as Nefertiti and Hatshepsut.
