Interestingly, Ornstein is a conservative and he's criticizing the NYT because they're going after Hillary and giving Trump a pass.
and
Cohen trying to justify the New York Time's Clinton attacks by saying how important it is to cover "the blurred lines at the Foundation, the air of dynastic entitlement, the "no" to press conferences." Ugh.

(42,334 posts)I really respect Ornstein as an old-school intellectual conservative. He's written many, many things critical of the modern GOP.
Cohen, IMO, comes off as a weasel in this encounter. These media people are so thin skinned.

(1,936 posts)Today the NYT has an article touting Trump's "ad of the week" and a fluff piecing promoting the idea that Johnson will be the hottest 3rd party candidate in 20 years. Do they have anything nice to say about Clinton? Hell no! But on Twitter they do mention that her lead has been cut in half post convention.
Edit: And the NYT has article about how Clinton is primarily hanging out with rich people and only occasionally campaigning.

And that bit about "dynastic entitlement" just reveals that they think being well known is reason enough to employ sleazy tactics.
