... no journalist is there to report it accurately, does it make a dent?

And in any case, his supporters will only see what they want to see... or what they are told they saw.

That may be a verbatim statement I remember reading abuot Bush Jr. at DU 12 years ago.

That's how low it would be. Not sure where I heard that - CNN or MSNBC in their discussions about what was coming tonight - or who said it. I was too to catch the commentator.

It is all going to come down to the moderators. Trump lies as easily as most people breathe. If he says A, then later says Z, and someone says 'but you just said A'. He will confidently say, 'No, it is Z'.

His 'secret plan' to defeat ISIS is to convene a meeting of generals and give them 30 days to come up with a plan. Like they haven't already done that? He says "we should have stayed and done a 'to the victor go to spoils' and taken the oil" when asked how he has no idea of how he would have secured the wells or transported the oil or how he would have handled world opinion or anything else. He was just going to 'take back America' because he has 'good judgement' And he got called on none of it'

He said that the reason there was so much of a problem with sexual assault in the military was because men and women were on the same base. (I guess the reason there is sexual assault in the world is because men and women coexist.) And he wasn't called on it.

He babbled about how he was 100% prepared to be President, but didn't have one single firm policy plan. And he wasn't called on it.

And Hillary had to spend 1/3 of her time talking about her emails.

The moderators will probably force Sec. Clinton to deliver all her answers as a from of silent modern dance and all of Trumps answers will actually be delivered by a team of campaign workers on laptop computers.

They are so in the bag for Trump it is no longer funny.

He already has stated that it isn't his job to correct or fact check the debaters when false statements are made.
