So, is Gary Johnson's epic fail a double edged sword?

Believe it or not, I know of one friend who leans heavy left that inexplicably got caught up in Johnson's nonsense. And he lives in Florida, the swing states of all swing states, to boot. So there have to be some left leaning voters that Johnson was picking off from the Democrats. His Aleppo brainfart might go a long way to dissuade people who might otherwise be voting for him.

But the flip side is for people who were leaning to the right and who simply could never imagine voting for Hillary but hate the notion of voting for Trump....Johnson was their out. If he's no longer considered a viable candidate, would they hold their nose and vote for Trump? Or just stay out?

then how in the hell can Trump seem like a viable candidate? If they hate Hillary that much and they're on the left, maybe the creepy Jill (even though heaven knows she isn't qualified either).

The questioning is actually in line with Libertarian thinking. It's embarrassing, but not much more than that. It's embarrassing simply from a foreign policy standpoint. It simply shows how shallow Libertarian thinking is in that vein.
