Want to punish media outlets for propping up Trump?

If you want to punish the mainstream media for propping up Trump and unfairly tearing down Clinton, you have to hit them where it hurts, in the wallet.

You could tune out, but that's not enough...ratings are a lagging indicator...

The only way to do damage is to go after advertisers...pay attention to the sponsors and write emails to those companies telling them that you're boycotting their products/services because they sponsor media outlets that are propping up the racist, misogynistic, and hateful Trump.

If enough people do that, the advertisers will start to threaten to pull ad dollars and the corporate media will be forced to change the narrative for their own financial health.

If you think this is journalism, you're sadly mistaken...this is all about ratings and ad revenue my friends.

This comes up every four years. I'm not saying it's bad idea, I'm just saying the M$M is ALWAYS biased against Democrats. If the search function works back far enough, you should be able to find all sorts of lists of advertisers to boycott. I'm sure they haven't changed - it's the same bunch of right wing assholes.

That's a boycott starter.

Step 2: Buy store brands whenever possible when food shopping. They're just as good and cost less.

Those are the first steps in boycotting advertisers who prop up Trump and the rest of the dictators.

I think you just described my purchasing profile. Generic drugs whenever possible and store brands almost exclusively.

What passes for commentary and analysis on the networks is really entertainment.

Until the US public changes their interests, they will get what they want: entertainment.

It's become such a cesspool that it's destroying itself. A lot of the people in my age group grew up having some trust in television reporters and journalist on both radio and TV. I don't the younger people watch it must, and most of the older onesare getting cured by the likes of Matt Lauer. They are digging their own grave, much like the US press.

They don't know if you are watching or not. That's not how ratings work.

But, do tell them why you aren't watching.

They really need to know how disgraceful they are.

your acne will begin to clear, your sex life will improve, and riches you can't imagine lay ahead of you. Leave them behind and work on a better world.

People will think I'm over-exaggerating, but I wouldn't bet on it. We don't yet know what we can do by walking away.
