Well, Republican surrogates have decided to go health truther. That should work out well

After Donald asked earlier today, we now have Reince saying:

"I don't understand it," he said. "I don't know what's going on actually. I don't know what to believe as far as what they're saying is the problem, because they don't tell the truth from the beginning and so it's reasonable – it's not mean, it's not wrong that I'm saying this — it is reasonable for people to not accept what they say because they say things that are lies so often. We don't know what is going on with Hillary Clinton."

Daniel Tamburello claiming she has pneumonia caused by Parkinson's:
A co-chair of the “Veterans for Trump” coalition wrote on his Facebook page on Monday that he believes Hillary Clinton has Parkinson's disease:

“They may have admitted HRC has pneumonia, but that’s not WHY she has pneumonia. I believe she has pneumonia caused by Parkinson’s disease,” Daniel Tamburello wrote.

And Representative Gary Palmer saying he flat out doesn't believe her and that if lying were a disease she would be terminal:

“I’ve got serious doubts as to whether or not it's pneumonia," Palmer told the Matt and Aunie Show on Talk 99.5 FM. "But I can't say. I mean, if it, in my opinion, just my observation, if it were pneumonia, I would’ve thought they would’ve come out and said that very early on. You know, she’s disappeared for a few days and if I'd been her adviser, I would’ve said, 'You need to get out there and let people know what’s wrong with you, get treatment, get a few days’ rest, get back on your feet.'”

...

Palmer added in his interview said that he didn't wish Clinton ill, but added that, "if lying were a disease, she'd be terminal."

“We need to separate our political views from the woman’s health," he said. "I think it’s pretty serious. Whatever it is. It’s pretty serious. I don’t wish her ill. I want her to lose the election obviously, but I think we need to be careful, but I do think there is a tremendous amount of disinformation out there. I think we were being lied to. And in some respects, if lying were a disease, she’d be terminal.”

So, yeah, so, so much restraint going on. And, secondly, I firmly believe they're way overplaying their hand here. They picked the one strategy around this that is guaranteed to only appeal to the deplorables and not the other voters they need to win. We're one horrific Tweet from Donald away from the whole script flipping on these assholes. Well done!

And this from the guy whose candidate put out a one page middle school book report from his hippy doctor as proof of his fitness.
