Related: About this forumMan Obama is really baiting Trump with this speech
You have to wonder if Trump's campaign team is hiding his mobile phones so that he can't tweet any responses to this smack-down.

(5,842 posts)Standard criticism of Trump but it just carried so much more intensity and was so much more no-holds barred than Hillary's delivery.
Given Trump's hatred for Obama you know he's going to want to respond in his standard infantile manner.

(6,252 posts)The candidate should generally stay positive. But the candidate's surrogates should be her attack dogs, going after the opponent with stiletto-sharp negativity.
I don't think Trump will be able to resist responding -- and digging his hole of negativity deeper and deeper.

(19,095 posts)Obama is the President, whatever he says is going to be news. Talking about the Trump scandals is going to force the narrative to them.
This campaign is just starting, I would love to see Obama give 20 more speeches like this between now and election day.
58% approval means he can sway a boat load of swing voters. If Obama were running this cycle, he might get 480 EVs.
