parties outside his big house and hired a friend of my mom's to do the catering. She made a small income running the tennis club, being a travel agent and catering. A lot of hard work, not much income for a single woman in her 50s. Well when it came time for her to get paid he said to her "I'll only pay for your costs of food and wages for servers. If you don't like it sue me". Well she couldn't afford to take him to court and he dam well knew it. They were neighbours and had been for 20 years. He knew all along he wasn't going to pay her. My dad paid the difference in her bill and stopped being friends with that man. He later went bankrupt I think. Point is if you constantly go into contracts knowing you are not going to honor them, and do it again and again that is a kind of fraud? Am I right?
