2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDid "Don the Con" think this through?
Did he not realize that by stepping into the public sector spotlight, with a run for the Presidency, he would forfeit a lot of his privacy?
Buying people off has become a liability for him now. He's being investigated on many fronts now that otherwise may have "gone away" had he not done this.
With this much potential dirt and the lingering investigations even after this election I'm scratching my head wondering why he jumped into the spotlight.
Is it just an ego thing? Because otherwise it makes no sense to draw the heat like this.

Stepping into the public sector (government) arena subjects a person to a whole other level of scrutiny.
