that we do Not need specific details on the candidates' health. We only need a statement that there are no contraindications to them running for President and carrying out the work of the President.

No one can guarantee the health of any President one day after their Day 1 in office.
This is all prurient curiosity on the part of the Media. HIPAA is applicable to all citizens, including Pres candidates.

This is part of the larger culture in the USA of many in social media & news media wanting to know every detail about every person in the public eye. Please spare me the details. I have not even read a single Hillary email. I trust her. No one is perfect but only Hillary is judged harshly for not being perfect.
