As for Brokaw, it's nice NOT to see or hear for him. He is WAY past his shelf-life. He seriously needs to pack it in. He's been sounding constipated for years now, but at this late date, he sounds almost incomprehensible. Tom Brokaw needs to kick back and enjoy his very comfortable and hard-earned retirement as a distinguished elder statesman of news brokering/curating, and write books and op/eds.
