CNN Gives Trump The Lead In Ohio By Polling No One Under 50 Years Old

http://www.politicususa.com/2016/09/14/cnn-trump-lead-ohio-polling-50-years.html

A new poll showing Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton by 4 points in Ohio set the media buzzing, but a look at the polling data reveals that CNN may have polled no one under 50 years old.

CNN touted their new poll of Ohio as Trump making gains in swing states, “With eight weeks to go before Election Day, Donald Trump holds a narrow lead over Hillary Clinton in Ohio and the two are locked in a near-even contest in Florida, according to new CNN/ORC polls in the two critical battleground states.”

Well, that certainly sounds dramatic, but a look at the crosstabs of the poll shows that things may not be exactly what CNN is suggesting they are in the Buckeye State.

There was something odd about the age of the respondents:...more

Maybe they underpolled those age groups. I have a difficult time believing the 35-49 group is small enough not to show crossroads. I'm not going to start unskewing polls though.

That the polls are being manipulated. I believe in my gut that Hillary is much farther ahead than they are letting on, and I think that her internal polling probably shows it. I also believe that minorities are being vastly underpolled However, a little fear will get people out to vote!

Even when Fox polls were not. CNN is banking that Fox News will buckle under the Ailes bullshit.( It wont. Most Fox viewers would gladly harass those women themselves and see nothing wrong with it) My conclusion is that CNN can lick that itchy spot on my taint.

Call me a worry wart, but Hillary's numbers dipped down more than 5% points in one day on Nate Silver 538. I don't know how their polling is done and over what period of time.

I don't and won't apologize for feeling worried. I'm not liking all the MSM bias toward Trump and against Hillary. I find it unfair, unjustified, contemptible and unprofessional. If that kind of worry makes me some kind of Troll, then so be it. If this isn't the forum to discuss concern and worry and it's all about the "happy place", I guess this forum isn't for me. If all we do is suspect one another of being "Trolls" or not really being Democrats or left leaning or whatever, then I guess this forum isn't for me. I'm looking for an opportunity to vent a little and also figure out what is going on and how to make sure that Trump is NEVER president. I thought I was finding like-minded souls here; not judgmental people. Perhaps I was wrong.

I was an avid Bernie Sanders supporter and I'm 110% behind Hillary Clinton. But, Trump and his minions have somehow managed to keep every non-worthy "news" story about Hillary alive, while they get away with telling lies. Yes, I am concerned and I do worry that day after day of bashing Hillary will have a negative impact. I am concerned and I'm proud to be concerned.

I will take my concerns and my worries elsewhere and I wish nothing but "positive thoughts" at the DU forum.

Kindly,
Farmgirl1961
