A debate response about Birtherism
Sometimes these dialogues occur to me. I decided to write this one down. I don't think Hillary really needs my help or that this dialogue is so great. But I think it may have some good points. And it felt good writing it. So, here it is.
A debate response about Birtherism
Mr. Trump, have you no respect for the American voter? Do you think any of us can forget your long, sordid history of birtherism? Do you think any of us can forget that in 2011 on national TV you claimed your Hawaiian investigators had uncovered amazing facts about President Obamas birth? So what are those facts, Mr. Trump? After five years, dont we all deserve to know? Tell us, Mr. Trump, here and nowif you can.
You cant. Because you know, and I know, and the American voter knows that you lied in 2011 when you said you had amazing facts about President Obamas birth. You lied then. And youve lied many times since then.
For instance, lately youve invented another ridiculous liethat I started the birther movement. But whoever started the birther movement its unarguable that for eight long years you believed it, like a gullible fool. You believed it for eight long years, Mr. Trump, and tried to convince others, too. Does such a man as yourself, who can be so easily fooled for so long, deserve the Presidency, Mr. Trump? Of course, not.
And speaking of being fooled, Mr. Trump, youve also been fooled into thinking that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is a superior leader to our Americas President. Can America risk having as President a man such as yourself who is so easily fooled? Or course, not.
