Republican campaign adviser Karl Rove complained that his Party was the victim of vote suppression.

“You couldn’t turn on a TV in a swing state without seeing a Democrat ad tearing down our nominee,” Rove said. “Sadly, too many registered Republicans were so disgusted by these attacks that they sat out this election as a protest. It was so unfair.”

Rove contrasted the Democrats’ “low road” with the GOP’s “high road.” “On numerous occasions Governor Romney called President Obama a ‘nice guy,’” Rove pointed out. “Not once did President Obama respond in kind. Voters were left to conclude that the Governor might not be a ‘nice guy.’ This is not the way a gentleman campaigns.”

the Freepers are up in arms over this but they don't realize that this, like The Onion or Colbert, is satire:

2. He needs to consult a dictionary

Even if Obama did everything Rove says he did, that's not voter suppression. It might have depressed turnout, but doing things that make people more inclined to stay home of their own free will is a LOT different from doing things that prevent those who try to vote from being able to do so. Rove has been making this argument since the summer and it REALLY irks me.

Karl,

Do you remember the attack ads against Mitt in the primary? They are ok but not ok in the general?

And I seem to remember Mitt's first ad against the president where it shows president obama quoting John McCain from the 2008 election about the economy except that the add never references that president obama was quoting McCain. It implies it was said by the president. Not so nice of Mitt was it?

Besides Karl, according to Grover that isn't the reason why Mitt didn't get the votes or turnout. it is because he was a poopy-head.

4. I'm not sure they know what satire is. I saw a thread with the word satire in the title, plus

at least two mentions reminding that it is satire. They just kept being pissed off that California was building a fence to stop rich people from escaping the high taxes. That's how easily some of them are fooled.
