GILBERT, Ariz. -- A Mesa man is in critical condition after his wife allegedly ran him down in a parking lot because he did not vote.
Sgt. Jesse Sanger of the Gilbert Police Department said it started with an argument between Holly Solomon, 28, and her husband, Daniel. The reason for the argument reportedly was Daniel's failure to vote in the Nov. 6 president election.
"According to Daniel, Holly believed her family was going to face hardship as a result of President Obamas re-election," Sanger said.
