After Trumps wonderful word salad about how he was going to bring businesses back

by 'raising taxes on goods imported into the country'...(umm, Mr. Trump, sir, I hate to mention it, but they aren't called 'taxes', they are called 'tariffs')...

Hillary should have turned to him and asked, "Would those taxes include all of the Trump branded items that are produced overseas? Or would you start by finding American manufactures to make your items?"

(refining your OP suggestion)

That would be a triple whammy and a double trap:

1) If he says he would tax himself, he admits he's importing foreign-made products, going against his base.

2) If he says he wouldn't tax himself, then he appears two-faced.

3) If he says he doesn't import, then he is sunk by fact-checkers.

4) If he says he does import then he goes against his base.

5) Anyway he replies, it makes him look insincere or a liar or worse. It also begins to raise the issue of how he would put all his (over-valued) empire into a blind trust, shielded even from family involvement.
