MJ (including Joe) is raking Trump over the coals about the Alicia Machado story...

1. The ugly sexism.

2. The likely impact on suburban women voters

3. The political incompetence of his campaign for letting him double down yesterday.

YESTERDAY, after Hillary Clinton absolutely dismantled the idiot in a debate, a debate where she performed extraordinarily well and he was exposed clear as day as being completely clueless on EVERY issue, they spent the whole morning bending over backwards to:

1) avoid declaring Hillary the clear winner
2) do 100 different spins to try to mitigate the jackasses performance

Mika spent the WHOLE show whispering in a barely audible tone that Hillary clearly won a few times while doggly and passionately saying she "JUST KNOWS" that Trump being a buffoon was going to HELP him.

NOW - I do not want to dismiss how crude, thoughless, boorish etc. Trump is generally about women and minorities or who mind bendingly bizarre it is when this kind of stuff gets exposed he has pour gas over himself and light it by triple doubling down on.

The point I am making is NOT to say it is OK or to dismiss it.

But, after out and out dismissing this idiot's cluelessness and flat deranged views on taxes, national security, international relations, nuclear weapons yesterday, after every single fucking one of them flat out refusing to give Hillary ANY kind of credit for a really strong performance, much less masterfully baiting this POS into melting down, today, they are hair on fire out raged over this situation.

THIS is how they think and operate - casually, dismissively, arrogantly spinning the very real issues, then over compensating and going ape shit over something that is tertiary to the larger responsibilities and functions of government.

first thing on the "show" this pathological liar, should not have access to the triad of destruction, he is completely unfit.
I guess , if they did, never had to practice getting under your school desk, or going home after school, and living on a military base, that had the b-52 armed and ready, going into defcon, during the Cuban missile crisis, nope, they have no clue.

Or having a adult discussion, that the pathological liar, had no clue, that he has 6 minutes to make a decision on launching these things, to determine if its real or a hoax.

And when he didn't fully answer the idea that this country has in place, since, we are the only country to have done, it, that we will shoot first when it comes to devices being launched, this country has had that policy since WWII--------------

And that with in our NATO alliance, Russia is saying that they will use devices in the Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine, and what will this country do----what is the pathological liars position on this? Say hey putin lets build that hotel, and you can have these three countries!!!!

And what is really amazing and these people should be tied with this albatross around there proverbial necks are the "republican controlled House and Senate.

They are only worried about the U.S. Supreme Court, and think mind you, that even though he says incredulous things and he is a pathological liar, about everything that they will go in that booth and vote for this pathological liar, just so that they can get a paperwork pusher, just like the racists Reagan, the last actor to be president.

Laurence O'Donnell nailed it last night when he went into his expose about how anyone on that staff, (Conway, Bannon, Christie, etc....) and anyone that supports this man, that what he said about Rosie O'Donnell and Miss Universe, they are and should be shamed, because as the liar said " they deserved it", they are "human beings", and that twit doesn't and will not acknowledged that fact--amazing

That is what this coffee BS should have been talking about, exposing this hypocrite and his followers to the shame of having no empathy, none, and this morning "crew" proves that they have no business, being mouth pieces of what is contrived to be news.

I highly doubt they are BFF.

The trauma of what Trump did to her when she was just 18 years old, disgusting. She suffered through Anorexia/Bulimia. I highly doubt she would ever be BFF with Trump again.

She is beautiful inside and out!

He turned to her and said, "It's not about you."

I wish she would unleash on him just once, without backing down. He's very dismissive and condescending towards her, in a way that feels very gendered.

His outrage over this subject seems disingenuous; when the camera's off, I doubt he gives a crap about the way women feel about themselves and their weight. I think he's putting on a show of how he thinks he should react for the cameras. On one hand, I love it when anyone criticizes Trump, but I don't trust it coming from Joe Scarborough.

Also, I noticed that they kept harping on the weight comments but spent much less time on the accompanying racist housekeeper comment (which was almost worse, IMO).

Years ago as a teen, my friends and I discovered throwing up after lunch as a method of weight control. Most of us were not fat but had still endured taunts. I happened to go to my doctor...a pediatrician...Mom kept us there until we were 18. He sent my Mom out of the room and told me based on my throat he knew what was going on...and it was a mental disorder...I was shocked. He made me come every week for months and gave me B12 shots and lectures...never told Mom, but said he would if there were any signs that I was continuing to purge. I don't think this illness even had a name then. If it did I never heard of it...luckily my illness and it is an illness where you hate your own body was caught early, and I recovered. I think Trump is a pig and hurt this young girl badly. He makes me sick. And even my Republican leaning friends don't like Trump. Also, my sister in law who also had an eating disorder was hospitalized...she had two roommates. Both later died.

that I know three girls who are friends with my daughter who are anorexic. Two have attempted suicide. One has damaged her heart and has been hospitalized repeatedly. This is an epidemic among the young and it is pigs like Trump who make young girls hate their bodies and themselves. It needs to stop.

She wasn't a close friend but someone who worked at the same place I did. She was extremely talented and yes she looked a bit frail. But I felt it wasn't up to me to say something, I was still toting 100 extra pounds at the time.

When I heard she died I just cried, what made her feel that somehow her life would be miserable if she wasn't the thinnest girl in the room. It's a struggle I will never understand (although I have my own eating disorders so I have an idea).

I keep thinking someone out there shamed that poor girl into thinking that being super thin was beautiful. Trump is an awful person for making women believe that beauty is only on the surface. Alicia Machado has shown us that beauty comes from within!

contests, AKA beauty contests. The standard is ridiculously unrealistic. Young women are getting implants, plastic surgery, taking drugs, purging, dieting, etc based on an absurd idea of beauty. The concept "she deserves a scholarship because she passes a certain level of appearance" is sexist and discriminatory.

It doesn't surprise me that drump likes being associated with this fraud and likes promoting it.
