Trump trounced Hillary in the debate by one measure:

In those 95 minutes, he spewed more than 2000 words into the biosphere than she did.

And all that bloviating didn’t do him any good. Because bloviating never does.

Details:

Between the Don and Hillary, about 14,400 words were spoken.

About 6100 were spoken by her.
About 8200 by him.

So he can’t claim he didn’t get enough of a chance to talk!

No link. I arrived at the numbers by copying the transcript of the speech, eliminating all the Holt passages, and running it through “word count.” The totals included the identifying labels “Clinton” and “Trump” whenever the speaker changed. So, the exact numbers I got (6149 for Hillary) and (8236 for the Don) included those labels and slightly overstates the # of their spoken words.

Final score:
Trump 16, Clinton 0. A victory for Trump, if not for truth.

repeating "very, very" "believe me" and "make America great again" made up several hundred of Trump's words.
