and funny. She is often a bit stiff and uncomfortable when addressing a crowd, and that, combined with the caricature the RW has created through 30 years of propaganda and relentless, has convinced many people that she is cold, calculating, and unlikable.

I think that little shimmy probably helped "humanize" her for many people who were capable of seeing past the propaganda but who had not yet had a chance to see her unguarded in such a public and political situation .

I believe many people probably found that shimmy charming. I am glad she did it. It was cute, and couldn't easily be interpreted as smugness, the way Gore's exasperated but fully justified sighs and eye rolls were.
