food stamps, social security and other things like that. Ask them about free college. Just because they think it's okay to smoke pot doesn't mean they agree with these young people about anything else.

Between his disregard for people's lives to the dumbass weed jokes, he's coming off as embarrassing. And then ANOTHER brain freeze where he can't name a single foreign leader! Weld had to bail his stoned ass out by naming Vicente Fox!

I believe he said, not on this show, that he will not do anything to get rid of Social Security or Medicare. That's not libertarianism.

He wants to federally legalize pot so that's why he's got such support. He would need to have a progressive congress because he ain't getting anywhere with that with a republican congress. So voting for him isn't going to get federally legal pot.

Student loans did not cause tuition to become so expensive. Federal cuts to higher education and bloated administrative salaries are what drove up tuition costs. By products of republicans cuts for years and years.

Why is Tweety giving this idiot a platform?

I had a long lunch meeting so I got home 15 minutes before it ended. Hadn't planned to watch it anyway, though. I know enough about them to know never to vote for them. I don't trust Libertarians. Too many times I've discovered that someone who tells me he/she is a Libertarian is actually still a republi-CON, just ashamed to admit it out loud.

I think that colleges have been able to get away with bloated administrative salaries and other inefficiencies because students were able to borrow so much money instead of having to pay upfront. I think if students were not able to borrow so much there would be more downward pressure on tuition and schools would have to be more efficient.

The reason, say researchers, is that deep budget cuts in state funding for public higher education and shrinking subsidies at private schools have pushed a greater share of the cost onto students and their families.
