My Biggest Problem in Thinking there was "No Fraud" Planned --

Is that I have to believe they *really* are that stupid.

= Stupid enough to believe the "wrong polls."

= Stupid enough to think "Benghazi" could be made into a media firestorm strong enough to take down a President who took out both bin Ladin and Ghaddafi.

= Stupid enough to think they didn't understand how everything they said was offensive to *most* of the country.

It is easier for me to believe they didn't CARE, because they had plans to make sure they stayed in power.

Behind the scenes, I think the "fraud" was going on, and I think this "sex scandal" is part of a cover-up about it.

It is easier for me to believe THAT than the fact a whole bunch of rich guys really didn't get what they were spending their money on -- keeping things easy for them, while screwing the rest of the country.

Maybe you think Karl Rove and his crew are Stupid. I don't. Conniving, lying, evil, self-centered, and awful = Yes. Stupid = No.

I still believe that Rove's outburst on Fox was because he believed the "fix" was in; that the the SoS of FL and OH assured him with the OH patch and FL long voting lines; disposed ballots in PA, etc. would assure a Romney victory. I don't know WHAT happened, but I read a small blurb that Antonymous was watching and - perhaps - undid the computer "fixes". Hence the gob-smacked shock from the GOP that they lost - big time.

though the Republicans were clearly doing whatever they could to change, stretch, and tamper with election laws in places like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, etc. to make it more difficult for Democratic voters to show up to the polls and cast a vote. That was not ever in doubt given the battles over voter roll purges, voter ID laws, early voting but, like I said before, I'm not sure that we'll ever know for sure unless somebody comes forward and testifies that stuff was planned and/or actually occurred on Election Night that was supposed to swing the election to Romney. Given how the election shook out, it looks like either nothing was actually attempted or it simply wasn't successful for some reason.

Every fiber of my being, down to the molecular level SCREAMS this is exactly right.......

As soon as they fool enough folks into believing they learned some lessons and will redeem themselves enough to vote them back in,they'll be right back at their old shit......

They know all about the electorate willful ignorance, short attention span and shorter memory....After all,THEY created and fostered the conditions bringing that about.....

Project ORCA their much touted GOTV SW was a huge bust. It wasn't even tested before election day, by some reports. No knowledgeable SW developer would do that. Besides, GOTV needs people to people effort to be effective.
