I think not. He might as well just come out and say it: "I want that senate seat."

When Obama appointed Janet Napolitano as head of Homeland Security, it set the stage for Bony Finger to become governor of Arizona. Not good.

Last time he plucked certain Senators & Governors to be in the cabinet without really thinking about who would replace them.

Both Arizona & Kansas were held by Democratic Governors, and while I realize he wanted to reward Napolitano and Sebelius for supporting him, I'm not sure if it was a good idea to remove them from their states.

And by taking Ken Salazar out of the Colorado Senate seat, it caused that seat to nearly go Republican. Luckily Michael Bennett was able to hold off Ken Buck at the last moment because of the support of women voters.

I was also originally annoyed that Joe Biden had been selected V.P. because it left the Delaware Senate seat vulnerable to Republican takeover, but luckily that one turned out okay because Christine O'Donnell was chosen instead of Mike Castle, otherwise Chris Coons probably wouldn't have won.

And Joe has turned out to a good V.P.

thought they were the best for the job. For the record.. as reported above, Kathleen Sebelius was term limited so couldn't run in 2010.

Janet Napolitano in Arizona was where the sacrifice was made. And since Jan Brewer and the teabaggers have taken over..it seems the landscape has changed there from our recent election. As if it's Backfiring on them.
