Were Bill's Comments On Obamacare A Campaign Debate Set-Up?....

Based on Trump's and the Repugs stance on Obamacare and no replacement plans - I'm thinking that the Clinton campaign wanted to discuss this tonight and they put Bill up to getting the discussion started.

Do you think I might be on to something here.

Hillary better be prepared to talk about the reasons it is having troubles: no single payer like the left wanted. It had to please the right.

form into what the GOP eventually allowed was the point of Bill's statement.
Hillary reminded people that with the GOP in office, millions would not only lose their affordable health but the Repubs would return health care to the way it used to be.
Caps on insurance coverage, pre-existing conditions would again be in effect and health insurance would again be determined by your employers.

The Clinton admin will improve on current Obamacare , fix what is not working and keep health care out of full control of the Ins industry.
She will need support of her Senate & House to improve vastly on what exists now. Otherwise she will be in the same gridlock as Pres Obama has been with Repub control.
THAT'S WHY WE MUST VOTE A STRAIGHT DEM TICKET.

Perhaps Bill Clinton DID indeed open the conversation of Affordable Health Care. Something the GOP refuses to give American taxpaying citizens

Senate might go Dem but House probably won't (per 538 predictions).

A lot of people are unhappy with some aspects of ACA, so it is a good idea to address those concerns by pointing out that

(1) The ACA would have been much better if Obama had gotten more support from Congress (which some may remember was Democratic for the first two years but failed to support him fully)

(2) Now is the time to try to build on the ACA foundation

(3) Vote on Nov 8th, and vote straight Dem so we can make this better

He gets a pass from me.
It's possible it was a calculated move to throw a bone to moderate/conservative voters and to draw attention to a policy position of Hillary Clintons.
Buuuutttt Bill is Bill. Can't help but love him.

Bill never says anything that doesn't sense when viewed in the proper context. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Anyone wanna clue me in on what he said exactly? Been very busy lately.

"Obamacare" is a wedge issue. Bill's statement today is designed to eliminate thus as an excuse for supporting Trump.

And I understand why.

He gave an accurate but unnecessary and dramatic description of it. The 'Bill will be Bill' stuff is tiresome.

'Build on and improve' is good. "Craziest thing in the world" not so helpful.

"It's not exactly clear to me what argument he was making" and wished Clinton 'had chosen different words'.

That's a subtle way of saying "You're not helping" "Please shut up"

chance to make history and serve as president. He also believes she deserves the job because of a lifetime of public service and because she is brilliant, competent, and compassionate.

But I also believe that the insecure, emotionally needy little boy who inhabits his subconscious cannot help undermining her from time to time--for a lot of reasons.

Nor can he quite stop himself from poking at the accomplishments of the guy who "cheated" Hillary out of the nomination by "jumping the line" when it was supposed to be her turn.

Bill has a lot of impressive qualities, but he could also serve as a case study for the way childhood insecurities and difficulties can motivate someone to achieve great success without ever learning to manage his own self-destructive impulses or his tendency to say things he should not say.
