Tight Race for President in Ohio

So Much for the Change election the MSM is pushing

One thing that could help Clinton win Ohio in the end is that voters in the state say they'd rather have four more years of Barack Obama as President than Trump, 51/45. If Clinton can effectively convince voters she would be the continuation of the country's current direction that they prefer to the sharp pivot a Trump presidency would represent, it could put her over the top here.

This says a lot. There is no love lose between OHIO STATE VS UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN

To put Trump's unpopularity in the state in perspective, we asked Ohioans whether they have a more favorable opinion of Trump or the University of Michigan- and 'That School Up North' beat out Trump 48/33.

Great article, especially if your a numbers cruncher like me. (Tons of data, worth the read)

I think many Ohioans, even the most ardent tOSU fans, fundamentally respect UM. Some of the "hatred" is blown out of proportion for the sake of the rivalry. Beating them 11 out of the last 12 times makes it harder to be bitter too. Lol.

I don't take anything for granted after the "upsets" in the 90's!

I haven't heard of the Buckeyes band ever being pelted by urine-filled balloons up there like at Happy Valley, so I'll give UM credit for comparative civility.

Ugh...

It wasn't so much about UM losing, but more about it being RIDICULOUS!

The Buckeyes would have won the B1G East if not for the unbelievable punt disaster, so that's what I get for laughing about it!

We had a bad game against MSU last season too. I can still easily picture their kicker doing a "windmill" celebration at the end.

Time for Sparty to be Sparty again, I say!

without the help of the refs...

Of course, Sparty has quite a history of upsetting both teams (1972, 1974, 1998, 2013 B10CCG, 2015 against the Bucks).

I think the Buckeyes might have been the best team in the country that year. Oh, well.

"Sparty being Sparty" is something Buckeyes fans used to say in years past when that team seemed to have a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

If the polls are close, especially if they are a slight lean for clinton, her ground game will push her over the top easily.

The debate performance, plus the tax revelation and maybe to a lesser extent, the recent news that Trump doesn't use U.S. building supplies have sunk him in the rustbelt.

The pundits can minimize this as much as they want, but electing the first woman President will be a HUGE change. No woman ever has been enough of the "establishment" to be elected President, or even to be the nominee of a major party.

And here she is, running against a billionaire, and the media pretends he's the outsider.
