Anyone else notice this w/ local radio election coverage?

OK, admittedly, I'm in a red-state and the local news/talk station carries all the big RW blowhards all day long, but I tune into rush hour broadcasts to get weather and traffic. Anyhow, they do brief election coverage stories that follow -- and I am not making this up -- the following format:

"Coming up, both candidates are <engaged in some general activity>."
<Audio clip of Trump or Trump surrogate.>
<End of "story.">

Here's a (non-verbatim) example:

<Radio Host> "Both Presidential candidates are back on the campaign trail after the debates. Donald Trump is stumping at a rally today at Some University in Such-and-Such Swing State."
<Trump's voice> "I really, really am concerned about Hillary, she just doesn't have the stamina for this job. It's sad really. But I love you people and my wall will be great. We'll bring millions and millions of jobs back to this town, believe me!"
<Radio Host> "In local news, the Mayor announced a new road construction project this morning..."

USUALLY -- and maybe I just have fond memories of what was called journalism, and writing -- when you introduce a topic with two actors in it, and you update listeners on one of the actors, then you also update listeners on the other actor, too.

I swear, they're like a small town radio station here, focused only on the activities, preparations, thoughts and words of their local high school football team. Opponents are left completely undescribed, unexamined, un-quoted -- because who cares about the other team anyway, amiright? Rah rah rah! And the Trump & Co. audioclips are just as insightful (inciteful?) and detailed as a quarterback's locker room interview: "Yeah, we just have to bring our best, y'know? It will be incredible. We're gonna beat 'em, we're gonna go all the way to state this year by staying focused and, uh, slaughtering all the other guys. That's the plan, we've worked on it real hard."

I thought this radio station used to be pro's. But... they ARE a FOX affiliate now, so there's that.

At least the traffic reports are still fair and balanced.
