Thinking thru Trump's game plan
What is Trump's game plan here? I think everyone on his campaign knows that he's going to lose. I think everyone of his advisors is there for short term money/power whatever, and they expect him to lose, will probably even vote for Hillary. Just like us, they are waiting for this to be over with.
Trump himself is not that stupid. He knows. I think he plans to just go on with his bluster for the next 30 odd days, and claim the election was rigged. As in so many of his endeavors, his goal is to not actually win, but present the appearance of success and win. I'm thinking he is trying to figure out how best to lose and still accomplish that, while not losing money. Changing his bluster for the debate will only prove to the world that he has been made to change his ways. Given that he realizes he cannot win, I don't think he is going to be disciplined at all in the 2nd debate. On the contrary, he is going to be the "extreme" DJT, and provide total red meat to his followers, and try to save face. Maybe there's a TV channel in his future, called "Deplorables"

Haven't seen many of his surrogates as the hurricane coverge is blanketing the media. (Still deciding if that is a blessing or not 
).
But I think at least a couple of them were developing that "we're gonna lose" look.
