George Will .. predicting that Romney would unseat Obama with a 321-217 Electoral College vote. Im projecting Minnesota to go for Romney, Will said .. Its the only state thats voted Democratic in nine consecutive elections, but this year, theres the marriage amendment on the ballot that will bring out the evangelicals, and I think it could make the difference. On Election Night, Obama won Minnesota.
Note: .. George Will was commentator election night yet I didn't hear anyone, being polite, ask him about his prediction, as he quick talked about other issues - but I could clearly see the egg on his face!
Like Will, earlier this month Michael Barone predicted a similar 315-223 vote count, swaying Romney's way. Karl Rove also predicted that Romney would take at least 279 electoral votes; on Election Night, he said on Fox News Channel that Obama's winning declaration was "premature." They weren't the only ones strongly predicting a Romney presidential victory; Dick Morris wrote: "The trend line is distinctly pro-Romney.
Hey Rove, if you do go 'back to ohio', take limbaugh with you & sing duet!

(2,730 posts)people they didn't expect to vote came out. All the Polls reverted to likely models near the end of the election. Whites were over represented. It would be interesting to see the exit Polls by different regions on Demographics. I've only seen four so far in Southern States. President Obama only got 15 percent of the white vote in Alabama and only 11 percent in Mississippi. He got 95 percent of the Black vote in both of those states. Those two states have very small populations also. I think Obama only won about three counties in Alabama. That is why you got these tea party candidates in the U.S. Congress and this country is divided. These states have less population but the representation basically represent land mass. That is how these Tea Partiers maintain their Power.
