2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumGeorge P. Bush for Texas Land Commissioner
People took notice when Jebbie's kid filed with the state, pondering on exactly which office he'd buy, most assuming Governor.
Daddy Jeb has since set everyone straight by publicly stating that the 36 year old real estate developer and Navy reserves attorney George Prescott Garnica Bush will run for Texas Land Commissioner in 2014.
Bush is also a co-founder and on the board of directors of Hispanic Republicans of Texas, a political action committee whose goal is to elect Republican political candidates of Hispanic heritage to office in Texas.
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever be free of the Bushes. The GOP will groom GPGB as their new and shiny saviour, their weapon to win Hispanic votes. I expect he'll run for Prez in 2020.

(4,340 posts)We already have a republican land commissioner. Of course, it's rumored that that guy want to run for Lt. Governor, and we already have a republican Lt. Governor. So at least one of those republicans will be without a job in 2014.
