George P. Bush for Texas Land Commissioner

People took notice when Jebbie's kid filed with the state, pondering on exactly which office he'd buy, most assuming Governor.

Daddy Jeb has since set everyone straight by publicly stating that the 36 year old real estate developer and Navy reserves attorney George Prescott Garnica Bush will run for Texas Land Commissioner in 2014.

Bush is also a co-founder and on the board of directors of Hispanic Republicans of Texas, a political action committee whose goal is to elect Republican political candidates of Hispanic heritage to office in Texas.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever be free of the Bushes. The GOP will groom GPGB as their new and shiny saviour, their weapon to win Hispanic votes. I expect he'll run for Prez in 2020.

AND, the Bush name is in the toilet. He may win an election or two in Texas and bring in some Hispanics with his heritage, but believe me, it won't go nationwide.

We already have a republican land commissioner. Of course, it's rumored that that guy want to run for Lt. Governor, and we already have a republican Lt. Governor. So at least one of those republicans will be without a job in 2014.

He's the one who stalked his ex-girlfriend and broke into her family's home:

George P. Bush might be a hunkalicious young Republican, but he still seems a bit creepy. So TSG wasn't too surprised to learn that "P" was involved in a troubling 1994 incident described in this Metro-Dade Police Department report. On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He proceeded to break into the house via the woman's bedroom window, and then began arguing with his ex's father. Bush, then a Rice University student, soon fled the scene. But he returned 20 minutes later to drive his Ford Explorer across the home's front lawn, leaving wide swaths of burned grass in his wake. Young Bush avoided arrest when the victims declined to press charges.

I think I smell a chance for a D pickup, P has too many skeletons in his closet and that name alone is baggage, even in Texas
