2. I think there is more grassroots' awareness this time. Actual people actually care, so perhaps

there's a sense that grassroots can do something, even if it is just to raise awareness & press for something more definite, however that can be determined from the bottom -> up, since waiting for top -> down obviously doesn't work.

There is increased activity on FB about all of this. That's a BIG connection.

think President Obama should tackle this directly now. He needs to get all the countries that have influence in the Middle East which includes the Palestinian Authority to reign in Hamas if what Netanyahu says is true. We need to know who speaks for the Palestinians period! If Hamas started this nonsense then they need to be isolated by the entire World. This is the channel Netanyahu needs to use instead of massacreing innocent civilians. We did not know Hamas was throwing missiles into Israel until Netanyahu's knee jerk military attacks. He sure didn't mention Hamas was throwing their missiles while he was trying to get Romney elected did he? So why now? All he ranted about was Iran and their President but nothing about Hamas throwing missiles around.

is where I agree with Netanyahu. If Hamas is the instigator of this current incident, then they should be eliminated with Israel's ground forces because Israel was attacked. And everybody including the Muslim Brotherhood should get on board because Hamas bought it on themselves. I think Israel should do it in consultation not only with the United States but ither countries. They should put forth the evidence and proceed to eliminate Hamas. Hamas is nothing but a pest. So if Netanyahu is telling the truth, just let him eliminate Hamas for good.

deal with Hamas, without other nations in the region double-crossing both of them.

You realize, don't you, that what you're proposing IS genocide, because there'd be NO way it would work, accomplish your goal, otherwise.
