Did Trump think Bernie voters would shift their allegiance to him...

...by incessantly and repeatedly remarking that Bernie had questioned Hillary's judgment during the primaries?

If Trump's debate handlers thought this would be an effective argument, and apparently they did, they really missed their mark. Like they did in almost every other regard of this so-called debate.

I, too, have had my issues with HRC, but after last night, I have newfound respect, admiration and absolute faith in her as the Commander in Chief. There was only one President on stage last night. She was the calm in the storm, the up when they go down. Well played, Madame President.

He will not her 1% of Bernie voters. And Hillary did a lot last night to shore up Bernie voters with the policy parts of her speech.

Some non-Sanders supporters might think he is right and vote for him out of spite. It's all about creating a cloud of uncertainty because he has nothing else.
