2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumLook out behind you, Hillary!
There's a sexual predator lurking and looming back there.
Trump's attempt at intimidating was patently obvious to anyone watching. That was one of the things that I saw that disturbed me the most. Trump loomed behind her whenever she was speaking. Classic predator intimidation tactic.

I wonder if her Secret Service contingent was on the alert. I suspect so. It's such recognizable threatening behavior.

The things we are seeing in this election are just unbelievable.

(15,543 posts)Trump is the Republican Party's choice to continue and to escalate their poisonous war-on-women, and upon the feminine principle as it is given healthy expression in life. Talk about toxic masculinity (R)...sheesh.

(9,600 posts)People missed his creepy follow her around tactics. But Trump's behavior was very unprofessional and beneath the dignity of a Presidential debate.
MineralMan
(146,317 posts)There are already compilation videos of his behavior circulating.
Trump and "dignity" are two words that do not belong together.

(146,317 posts)Attempting to dominate someone by using sheer size is classic. You move in and stare, making a threatening face. Hillary didn't take the bait, of course, since she's not a person who is easily intimidated.
Still, his posture and facial expression was consistently threatening. Hillary's Secret Service protective group must have been on alert, just in case Trump did anything. I have no doubt of that. They're trained to recognize threats.

(53,339 posts)She is not one to be intimidated by such a small, small man.
MineralMan
(146,317 posts)I can't imagine that she would be intimidated by any bullying type. She showed that clearly last night, and the women who were watching were surely aware of how she handled Trump's threatening behavior.
