Unhinged Rudy Giuliani defends Donald Trump by pointing to Bill Clinton’s affair: “There was semen on her dress!”

Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani sat down with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews following the second presidential debate Sunday night. As one of Donald Trump’s loudest surrogates, Giuliani was asked to defend the Republican presidential nominee after video leaked last week of him bragging about grabbing women “by the pussy” in 2005.

Giuliani dodged the question in order to pivot to sexual assault accusations against former President Bill Clinton.

“How come he wasn’t prosecuted for raping Juanita Broaddrick? Why wasn’t he prosecuted for taking advantage of an intern in the White House?” he said — the latter question referring to President Clinton’s repeated sexual encounters with 22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky between 1995 and 1997. “There was semen on [Lewinsky’s] dress, who proves he lied to America. Just like her husband, [Hillary Clinton] is getting away with lying to America.”

“Men say stupid things in locker rooms,” Giuliani added after Matthews suggested he wasn’t “comfortable” with defending Trump’s hot mic comments. “I was a baseball player, a terrible football player but a good baseball player, and now I play a lot of golf … I’ve played golf with Bill Clinton and I’ve heard worse than that.”
