The second Clinton-Trump presidential debate, in three minutes

Here are key moments from the fiery town-hall style presidential debate between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton at Washington University in St. Louis on Oct. 9. (Sarah Parnass/The Washington Post)
The first 30 minutes of the second debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump failed to respect the dignity of the American people. That Trump would go all Real Housewives by bringing four women who have accused former president Bill Clinton of sexual assault (or worse) was beneath the dignity of the office of president of the United States.
We are so much better than the 90 minutes that were delivered. But there were three revealing moments that I want to highlight now before the horror of what we just endured sinks in and renders me mute.
............................
Trump threatened to put Clinton in jail over her use of a private email server while secretary of state.
If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation, Trump said. Theres never been anything like it. And were going to get a special prosecutor. Clinton responded by saying, Its just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country. Trumps retort was breathtaking: Because youd be in jail, he said.
Trump says he will 'get a special prosecutor' to investigate Clinton's e-mails if he becomes president

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump told Hillary Clinton that if he becomes president, he will instruct the attorney general to hire a special prosecutor to investigate her. (The Washington Post)
So breathtaking that Ari Fleischer, former press secretary to President George W. Bush, tweeted, Winning candidates dont threaten to put opponents in jail. Presidents dont threaten prosecution of individuals. Trump is wrong on this. Win or lose, what Trump threatened was wrong...............................

Yeah, he's wrong.. even Ari Fleischer can see that. Wonder if trump knew he'd get as big a blowback as is coming down the pike straight at him?
This is from Josh Marshall.. sums it up too..
