Hillary was brilliant last night!
Going into the debate I was mainly concerned about Trump being somehow forced out of the race leaving the Republicans to hand pick his replacement.
His little scorned women stunt right before the debate probably upset me more than it did Hillary. Or, at least, I knew she would not be deterred by it as I would have been.
She then went on to do exactly what she needed to do. She won the debate but let Trump and the Republicans believe Trump did so much better. For the moment he is back to safely losing the presidential race. Many republicans are crowing about last night's performance, especially his supporters.
This leaves us to win the presidency handily and in the process pick up more senate seats. Even, possibly, those much needed house seats.
Well, that's the way I see it. Hillary played it brilliantly. She allowed Trump to do exactly what she wanted - stay in the race to lose the race.
