1. He has no awareness of reality

In Donald Trump's pathetic world, reality is what he dictates it to be. This is why he can change his opinion on things without the self-awareness that he previously said the opposite.

More importantly, you're correct, DanTex, that it's a bad strategy to attack the women coming forward. A smarter man would be proactive perhaps even meeting with and apologizing to these women. Take a more positive stand instead of his typical default position of hiding behind lawyers and bad-mouthing his (perceived) foes.
