When Anthony Tennent took the flyer out of his Albuquerque, New Mexico mailbox, he knew he had to tell somebody.
“I’m not that big into social media. I don't usually take the time to share that kind of thing,” he told The Daily Beast. “It really bothered me.”
The mailer shows a woman in a cold blue hue peeking through her blinds. “When the Democrats win the election and you didn’t do your part… your neighbors will know,” it reads, in all caps.

The back shows a map of houses, some tagged with red check marks in blue pinpoints.

6. Surely this has to be against the law

The last time that I checked, everyone's ballot was a SECRET BALLOT. The only way your neighbors can know how you vote is A) if you tell them, or B) an election worker tells them. If an election worker steals your name and divulge how you vote, that is surely a criminal offense. Your state Secretary of State requires that all poll workers must be trained in how to properly and fairly conduct a polling place. It is against the law to harrass you or electioneer within 100 ft of your polling place.

Photocopy that mailer. Give a copy to A) the head of the Election board in your county, B) your Dem precinct chairman, C) your postmaster if it came through the US mail, D) the FBI, E) your state Sec of State.

Don't take this insult Lieing down. You have a right to vote as you please, and vote in secret.

11. It is slimy, but that is not what the flyer says

The flyer alleges to its Republican mailing recipients that if you don't vote (doing your part to stop the Democrats), your neighbors will know (that's public information - if they feel like knowing, they will know).

Slimy mailer, and plays on the reality that most people don't understand that voting records are public, but it doesn't allege that your neighbors will know you voted democratic and it doesn't allege that the Republican Party will tell your neighbors.

They're bad enough on their own. We don't need to make crap up about them.
