Calling on all religious leaders

I think all religious leaders should issue a letter condemning the rhetoric of Donald Trump, and denounce his hatred and call for violence following the election. They should urge their people not to vote for him.
A joint letter could also be issued signed by many different religious leaders, a reminder that our country was formed so that people of all faiths could live together. I know some evangelicals already did this, but more is needed.
It is hard for me to understand how any truly religious person can close their eyes and ears to the horrible and incendiary comments of the Neo-Nazi running for President.
