Sunday talking heads...

Seem to be resigned that the election is over. They really seem to be coalescing around the narrative of "What a shame Donald Trump is such a ridiculous undisciplined candidate, any other generic republican would have ridden all this righteous anger to victory because no-one trusts Clinton." They seem to want to separate the fact that Trump tramples on his own message from the fact that the racist misogynistic dog whistles and the outrageous reality TV issues really ARE his message. They have been from the start of his campaign. And they have given up questioning the motivation of all that anger and distrust. Forget the racism forget the sexism and they just want to put it on Clinton's emails or past support of TPP. Gee I wonder how she can ever bring the country back together when we've spent months convincing everyone that their misogynistic hatred of an otherwise qualified candidate is justified. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

Won fair and square. Rump is who they chose to run. Somehow this little fact continues to elude them.

3. No other Rep Candidate (except Cruz) came close to appealing to the "righteous anger" demographic.

The Republican electorate did not want a candidate approved by the party. They wanted an angry rightwing populist.

Cruz would have done better because he would have run a smarter campaign and held the entire Christain Right behind him. I think he would have done better than Trump, but still lost.

No one else ever had a chance to win the nomination.

who the guests were. I did watch State of the Union, and that crowd was actually giddy when they talked about the Con, and made jokes about some of his comments.

Other than that I watched Joy on MSNBC. She always has some decent guests and handles them well.

5. It occurred to me that HRC would not lose a debate to Cruz, Rubio or Bush.

This thought came to me because I'm not a talking points Sunday show dipshit.

Maybe Kasich could have quieted his facial tics long enough to do well against Hill. But captain balloon drop in Ohio was a viable candidate only for a microsecond and that was only because Trump existed. In a super polarized environment it would have been a jump ball going into the debates. Did anyone see Jeb in the debates? I actually felt sorry for him. He was like the "naked in front of the audience" bad dream we all have. Cruz is a smarmy reactionary slime mold who perhaps is the most cock-punchable person on the planet. I'm sure she could have found a way to hit it--as teensy as it probably is. Meanwhile, Rubio buckled at the tiniest provocation by Christie.

If that Republican ship of fools couldn't get Trump's number after seemingly thousands of debates, what possible chance could they stand against that nasty woman?

His message has not changed. HE hasnot changed. They gave him a platform to boost their ratings, made money, and are now lamenting that he couldn't take it to the next level because he lacks substance and experience?

As vulgar as Trump is, I find the MSM equally vulgar---if not moreso. At least he is honest about who he is. I hope Hillary addresses the fairness doctrine and the nefarious gerrymandering that has been pushed by republicans in the past.

That is his next task. Announced the other day. Redistricting is going to be big come the midterms in two years.
