How about that, Clinton's election night party being held in a place with a massive glass ceiling

Just in: Hillary Clinton will hold her election night event at Javits Center in Manhattan.

Get it? https://t.co/crz9l2LWto

Again, this is not at all the behavior of a candidate expecting a dog fight on Election night. This is someone who expects to shatter the glass ceiling and has already set up the site of her historic victory speech.

A maverick, Javits joined the Republican Party in a favorable response to Fiorello La Guardia and in reaction to Tammany Hall's efforts to control votes. He was elected to the Senate in 1956 where he served until 1981, following terms of service in the House of Representatives and as Attorney General for the State of New York.

I voted for Ben Gilman. He was pro choice, pro environment - I do still remember when republicans weren't lunatics. I haven't voted for one of them in quite some time (he retired from our district in 1993 - I've been voting for Nita Lowey ever since).

It's a horrible place to take the bar, but fitting for election night.

Is this event open to the public/supporters, or just for campaign staff, family, etc.?

All of America will be fun on election night! I'm betting around the world, too!

But what I wouldn't give to be in NYC Nov 8!

Can't wait!

Glass ceilings aren't doing too good this year. Perhaps global warming contributes to this
